About the Team

Nerdin St. Rose

Nerdin St. Rose has over 20 years of unparalleled experience in the areas of marketing and hospitality. She is the owner of Bornewell Marketing Ltd, a Turks & Caicos Islands based Marketing & Public Relations firm, which offers clients a wealth of experience, strategic insight and creative solutions.

As a focused and driven child, Nerdin began learning the subtleties of communication, critical thinking, judgment and relationship building in the family-owned service industry in St. Lucia. This early training would later prepare her for the road to Bornewell Marketing. Through the years she has focused her invaluable skills throughout the US and the Caribbean. In 1992 she helped open the 238-room resort in St. Lucia, designing and developing its first honeymoon, dive and weddings packages. As Sales Manager for a destination management company in St. Lucia, she was influential in attracting the French and incentive group markets - a first for the company. Through the US office of the Organization of the Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) she attracted some long-lasting investments to the Caribbean region.

Nerdin has experience in large organizations and small businesses across myriad fields. She has collaborated with executives, working on campaigns for highly capitalized luxury brands and emerging budget-conscious brands. Her marketing experiences comes from working with several advertising and communications firms, including Travel Weekly, a major travel & tourism industry publication and in television with BET Digital Networks /VIACOM (BDN). At BDN, she was project manager for the music festivals produced by the company throughout Africa, the Caribbean and India; and handled the media planning and implementation for all the festivals and coordinated all aspects of the event.

In Bornewell Marketing, Nerdin has created a company that knows the value of the relationship between clients and customers and knows the importance of staying profitable and increasing income. Bornewell Marketing under Nerdin's leadership has met and exceeded all project goals. Nerdin is an authority on doing business in the Caribbean, having worked with and in several islands including the Bahamas, Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, St. Lucia and the Turks & Caicos Islands.

Nerdin holds a MS in Marketing Management from the University of Maryland University College and a BSC in Hospitality Management with a Minor in Marketing Management from Florida International University.


Petya Severin

Petya has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Marketing, with upper second class honours from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus.

She has worked with Right Angle Imaging Company in St. Lucia, which provides corporate communication and marketing services. As the market research coordinator of Right Angle Imaging, Petya has worked with assessment of customer satisfaction for companies such as Digicel, Kalalu Music Festival, and Caribbean Perfumes. She also partook in the communications efficiency assessment of the St. Lucia Air and Sea Port Authority. Petya has contributed business and lifestyle articles to the St. Lucia Who’s Who in Business Publication and IslandWhere magazine.

She recently moved to the Turks and Caicos Islands and has aided in a number of marketing campaigns and events. Most recently she has written and designed the Turks and Caicos Hotel and Tourism Association electronic newsletter which won the award for Most Newsworthy Newsletter by the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association.
